4 PLACES TO VISIT IN ONTARIO, CANADA

Being born and raised in Ontario, I have discovered some of Ontario's beautiful natural pockets. I have been mind blown from some of these places that are just a couple kilometres away and have been made into popular tour spots. Please take a look into these places and I hope you take a road trip to some of these beautiful places!

 

1.SCARBOROUGH BLUFFS

Public park with an elevated meadow for views of the bluffs & a sandy lower beach with picnic areas. Bluffs stretch for about 15 km along the Lake Ontario shore, from the Eastern Beaches of Toronto in the west, to East Point Park in the east. The Scarborough Bluffs are a significant geological feature resulting from the accumulation of sedimentary deposits over 12,000 years ago. They were formed by the natural processes of wind and water erosion from Lake Ontario.

2. ALBION FALLS

Albion falls is a 19 m cascading waterfall flowing down the Niagara Escarpment in Red Hill Valley, in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.With the cascade falls the downpour is staggered into a series of steps causing the water to flow. Even through the cold months, the waterfalls in Hamilton are still beautiful to visit.

3.DEVILS PUNCHBOWL

The Devils Punchbowl is located in the conservation area in Stoney Creek. It has two waterfalls, the Upper and lower waterfall. It has a beautiful escarpment view and the punchbowl itself reflects the bowl like shape of a rock formation. Lastly, there is a beautiful steel cross that lights up once the sunsets at the top of the hill.

4.ELORA QUARRY

The Elora Quarry is an old quarry that is known for there beautiful scenery, diving cliffs, trails and clear water. It is a popular spot to go enjoy your day out in the sun with friends! It has a beach, picnic area and the beautiful quarry/cave.
